Söhnke Theymann and Henrietta Take 6-Year-Old Jumper Win at Kentucky Spring Classic
Lexington, KY – May 19, 2021 – Show jumping competitors kicked-off the Kentucky Spring Classic Wednesday, May 19, at the Kentucky Horse Park. Young jumper horses were spotlighted in the Walnut Ring Wednesday morning as athletes piloted the rising stars with the hope of emerging victorious in their respective divisions. Claiming first place honors in the 6-Year-Old Jumper was Germany’s Söhnke Theymann riding Platinum Capital Management LLC’s Henrietta. Earning victory in the 7-Year-Old Jumper was Alex Granato (USA) aboard his own mount Cupcake.
Christopher Payne Takes Top Placings in the Green Hunter Incentive Stake at Kentucky Spring Classic
Horse-and-rider combinations were excited to get back in the StoneLea Ring for the Kentucky Spring Classic Wednesday, May 19. Christopher Payne was first in the ring for the Green Conformation Hunter division aboard Still Water Farm LLC’s, Gratitude. The pair laid down a beautiful first round and came into the Green Hunter Incentive Stake with an eagerness that would prove to set the pace for the rest of the class, earning a high score of 87 to take the blue.
