Hoogeloon, NED – Sept. 30, 2019 – In 2016, Sorensen Stablesopened its European operation and in that short time the team has experienced such overwhelmingly positive results that they have decided to acquire their own property. Previously located in Maastricht, the Sorensen operation has upgraded its facility to nearby Hoogeloon in order to further enhance its superior services focused on high-end sales, competitions and coaching. Now with a permanent base in the Netherlands, the team can capitalize on its unique position at the intersection between the broad network of breeders in Europe and personal insight into the North American high-performance student and equine needs.
“We are so thrilled to finally have a permanent place to call home in the Netherlands. Not only will this lend us some stability with a farm of our own, but we will also be able to offer increased services to horse buyers, students and boarders, which was our ultimate vision,” commented Chris Sorensen, the head trainer and founder of Sorensen Stables. “Purchasing a new base for our operation has been such an exciting process, and we all can’t wait for the expanded facilities and the growth that will enable for both our clients looking to purchase horses and our students in Europe pursuing their own goals.”
With private space and facilities, the picturesque farm is perfectly suited to encourage high-performance training throughout the year, as well as grow the current sales operation. Having higher capacity allows for students to benefit from well-rounded riding opportunities across the property, and there will even be stalls available for select individuals to lease seasonally or year-round. In addition to spacious stalls for the horses, ample turnout fields, a nice indoor arena and scenic riding trails, a multitude of top-notch features ensures that Sorensen Stables is a full-service farm capable of training and producing horses and riders at the highest levels of the sport.
