Junior riders have been preparing all week for Sunday’s 2024 Hamel Foundation National Horse Show 3’3 Equitation Championship. In its 7th year at NHS, 186 riders competed in the Championship Final, marking one of the final’s largest classes to date.

“Every year, I am so excited about the show. It’s always a surprise to me. We thought it would have some support, but never this kind of support, with one-hundred and eighty-four riders today. We just never thought it would surpass the Maclay in numbers. We thought it would be a great stepping stone, but just not like everybody has taken it. For a lot of people, this is as far as they go, and they are thrilled. Which is really fun.”
