In 2020, TCHS is proud to offer an unprecedented eight weeks of riding, up from six weeks in 2019, with the Traverse City Spring Horse Show (TCSHS) taking place June 11-21, while the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF) will follow from July – Aug. 9. The summer schedule will feature six weeks of CSI2* competition, followed by two CSI3* weeks. Jumper riders will also have the chance to compete in USHJA Zone 5/6 Team Jumper Championships and the Platinum Jumper Championships during Week V. A new addition to the 2020 series, the Adequan/FEI North American Youth Championships for show jumping and dressage will also be held at Flintfields Horse Park. In June, hunter riders will also have two additional derbies added, bringing the total of weekly National Derbies up to eight for the circuit. Thanks to the new championships and the addition of two more weeks of competition, seamless and expedited travel to Traverse City will be especially important considering the larger volume of passengers, making Cherry Capital Airport – TVC’s continued support of the horse show even more valuable.
