USET Foundation Supports US Equestrian High-Performance Programs with Spring Soirée

Rancho Santa Fe, CA – April 8, 2019 – The United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation announced today it will host a fundraising event at the beautiful Pomponio Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, California on Friday, April 26, 2019. Dubbed the Spring Soirée, the evening fundraiser will benefit the US Equestrian High Performance programs and give attendees the opportunity to bid on unique silent and live auction items and experiences.

The USET Foundation Spring Soirée will feature a night of festivities beginning with cocktails and dinner, followed by live and silent auctions and dancing.

Most exciting, bidders need not be present but can bid online here.

Notable, one of a kind experiences to be auctioned include a surfing adventure with Olympic dressage medalist Guenter Seidel and USEF/FEI rider David Blake, a BBQ dinner for 20-people prepared by amateur pitmaster and Olympic Show Jumping gold medalist Will Simpson, training and grooming for the entire Thermal circuit in 2020 with Archie Cox, a set visit to the hit Netflix comedy “Grace and Frankie,” a pilot script from the multiple award winning Netflix series “Orange is the New Black” signed by the entire cast, and a month of training with USEF Technical Advisor Debbie McDonald.

Other items that have been donated and can be bid on to raise money for USET include everything from beginner riding and vaulting lessons to lessons with Olympians and Olympic coaches and others who have represented the US in international competition including vaulting lessons with gold medalist Devon Maitozo and dressage lessons from Olympian and former US team coach Robert Dover, and from German dressage masters Conrad Schumacher and Johann H Hinneman. Other auction items include artwork (from paintings to tattoos), wine tasting, breeding opportunities, an arena laser leveling, equestrian clothing (including custom boots and jackets), jewelry, and more. Details and future announcements are forthcoming.

Net proceeds of the Spring Soirée will benefit the US Equestrian High Performance programs, which helps to ensure that the US Equestrian high-performance athletes have the necessary coaching, veterinary services, physiotherapists and more, so that they and their horses can compete for the United States at the top levels of equine sport.

Space at the Spring Soirée event is limited. Those interested in attending should click here to purchase tickets or a table, and register for the silent and live auction items. Tables are available at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medal tiers.
