Victoria Colvin Teams Up with Top Sporthorse Producer Haras Rosa Mystica

Wellington, Fla. – May 7, 2018 – Talented equestrian athlete Victoria Colvin is thrilled to announce her new partnership with Mr. Nilson Leite’s Haras Rosa Mystica, a premier producer of top sporthorses for international show jumping competition based out of Brazil. Colvin has taken over the ride on Zambia Mystic Rose, a Haras Rosa Mystica-bred mare who has already achieved considerable success in both Brazil and the United States at the grand prix level. This new relationship will allow for Colvin to be an even more formidable force in the jumper ring as well as spread the Brazilian equestrian market on behalf of Haras Rosa Mystica.

“I am ecstatic to partner with Mr. Leite and his farm, Haras Rosa Mystica! His belief in my abilities is a huge compliment, and I am honored that he trusts me with Zambia Mystic Rose,” commented Colvin. “We have already started working together and I can’t wait to show our best in the ring at horse shows across the country. Mr. Leite has afforded me an exceptional opportunity, and I can’t thank him enough.”

Located in the city of Sorocaba within the state of São Paulo, Brazil, Leite’s Haras Rosa Mystica is renowned for exclusive equine breeding. Boasting countless awards in national and international tournaments, the breeding and training operation follows a self-proclaimed simple recipe for success: determination and learning. Their prodigy consistently reach top ranks thanks to quality pedigrees and proper handling and management. Haras Rosa Mystica is a member of the Brazilian Association of Horse Riding Breeders (ABCCH) and is also an official Brazilian representative of Paul Schockemöhle, owner of one of the world’s most successful and frequented stallion stations whose studs include Big Star, Presley Boy, Sandro Hit and Totilas.

“When Victoria [Colvin] tried the horse, I loved the way she rode. Her soft hands and quiet riding is exactly what I want for my horses, so I knew they were going to be a great pair. She made the horse happy with her riding, which was obvious to see” said Leite, owner of Haras Rosa Mystica. “I’m looking forward to watching these two grow together, and I anticipate that we will see much success in the ring from them.”

Colvin and Zambia Mystic Rose, known affectionately as “Rosie,” plan to travel the East Coast and the Midwest over the course of the summer and fall before returning to South Florida for the competitive winter equestrian season. If Colvin’s talent and Haras Rosa Mystica’s impressive resume of horses is any indication, then this exciting new pairing is destined to bring a fresh top contender to the upper levels of showjumping sport.
