FROM THE WINNERS CIRCLE
Adrienne Lyle – CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle Winner
On her freestyle:
“I’m super thrilled to be here again, it’s an amazing venue. I was excited to see how packed it was despite this cold weather. He feels great and he was happy to be here. We were fortunate to have the World Cup qualifier in December here under our belt, so this is the second of three we have to try to do. He doesn’t do a lot in between these shows, he knows his job now so we just keep him happy, healthy, and fit. We’ll go home and rest after this then try to get one more under our belt.
Sarah Tubman – CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle second place
On her test:
“There’s really nothing like riding on our home turf with such a big crowd. It’s a great electric atmosphere. My horse absolutely loves it here, and loves the crowd and the energy that this ring brings. We are really lucky to have this seven minutes away from our stable and be able to practice under this circumstance. It’s quite fun and we are lucky to have access to this. I’m just taking it month by month, but I’m really proud of my horse and myself. We have come quite a long but we just continue to try to improve. I’m really lucky to do it on a fabulous horse.”
Caroline Darcourt – CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle third place
On her test:
“I am just over the moon about this whole show. He did his very first freestyle tonight that we just made this week. This was for sure more than I could have hoped for. I am extremely happy to be here tonight. This show is great, the possibility of getting to ride at a show like this is just amazing.”
