August 5, 2025 – Leatherdale Farms is pleased to announce that Louise Leatherdale’s Daniela 133 and rider Helen Langehanenberg delivered an exceptional performance at the Münsteraner Special, securing a third-place finish with a score exceeding 71%. Remarkably, this achievement came in only her second appearance at the Grand Prix Special level, underscoring the mare’s potential as a rising competitor on the international dressage stage.

Daniela is sired by one of Leatherdale Farms’ most celebrated mounts, Damsey FRH, who was also ridden by Langehanenberg. Langehanenberg and Damsey had an illustrious career including being members of the German gold medal winning team at Aachen CDIO5* Nations Cup in both 2018 and 2019, as well as winning a bronze medal at the 2019 FEI Dressage World Cup Finals in Gothenburn, Sweden. In 2020, Damsey was the WBFSH #1 World Ranked Hanoverian (HANN).

Damsey FRH retired from competition in 2021 following a second-place finish in the Grand Prix at the CDI5* Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar. He now resides at Hengststation Jens Meyer in Dorum, Germany where he stands for stud.

Exhibiting the same athleticism, presence, and precision as her sire, Daniela continues to build on this legacy with performances that reflect both her inherent talent and the high-caliber training for which Leatherdale Farms and their carefully selected riders are renowned.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Daniela’s competitive career and serves as a testament to the expertise, dedication, and standards of excellence upheld by Leatherdale Farms. It further reinforces the farm’s reputation for producing and developing world-class dressage horses capable of excelling at the sport’s highest levels.
