McKayla Langmeier Pilots Pepita VD Rollebeek to Victory in the $32,000 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake

May 26, 2026 – Devon, PA – Under the lights of the Dixon Oval, FEI jumpers representing four different nations made their 2026 Devon Horse Show debut, vying for the first victory of the week in Tuesday evening’s $32,000 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake, sponsored by Frank DiBella Deluxe Horse Vans.

Ireland’s Colm Quinn, an FEI Level III course designer, set the opening international track of the week, challenging riders with a technical course that tested both speed and precision in the historic arena.

Rising to the challenge, McKayla Langmeier and Pepita VD Rollebeek delivered the fastest clear performance of the night, stopping the clock in 57.34 seconds to take the victory. Langmeier, representing the United States, guided Rafferty Farm’s 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare to the top of a competitive field of 37 international horse-and-rider combinations.

“This is my first time competing during senior week. I used to come every year when I was a junior, and I haven’t been back since I aged out,” Langmeier shared of her return to the Devon Horse Show after eight years. Returning to the historic venue proved to be a successful homecoming, as she and Pepita VD Rollebeek rose to the challenge of Colm Quinn’s opening track. “I thought it was an excellent first course. The plan with Pepita today was really to go out there and try to go for the win, and thankfully, it happened.”

Reflecting on her win at Devon, Langmeier said, “It feels amazing. It was really cool to have the blue cooler on my horse and to bring it back to the stable.”
