Devon, PA – July 19, 2025 – The Devon Horse Show Foundation announces the return of the Devon Fall Classic for its 12th anniversary, September 11-14, 2025.

This premier all-jumper competition at the Devon Horse Show Grounds, 23 Dorset Road, Devon, PA 19333, continues its tradition as one of the most anticipated equestrian events of the fall season. The four-day event features thrilling competition across multiple divisions, including the signature $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix.

“The Fall Classic represents everything we cherish about the equestrian community,” said Wayne W. Grafton, Chairman and CEO of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. “We’re seeing more young riders than ever before, and it’s wonderful to witness how the Fall Classic helps local barn owners develop their young riders. The intimate setting of this four-day event allows these developing equestrians to experience the magic of competing in the historic Dixon Oval in a more relaxed atmosphere than our spring show. It’s a perfect stepping stone that builds confidence and creates lifelong memories.”

Competition Schedule:

Under the expert guidance of renowned show managers Patrick Boyle of Showplace Productions and Phil J. DeVita, the 2025 Fall Classic promises exceptional course design and competition management. This team brings decades of expertise in managing heritage shows, with their combined experience spanning competitor, trainer, judge, course designer, and show production roles. DeVita is a licensed USEF official with an “R” rating in judging hunters, jumpers, hunter seat equitation, and hunter/jumper course design at prestigious venues, including the 2008 Hong Kong Olympics and Madison Square Garden.

“The Devon Fall Classic offers jumping levels from .85m through 1.40m for all types and levels of competition,” said Phil J. DeVita Jr. “This year’s new .90m classic on Sunday allows a new group of exhibitors to participate.”

Patrick Boyle of Showplace Productions added, “A great feature of the Fall Classic is allowing the exhibitors to compete at the venue with the same quality of jumps, decorations, and international course designers as the spring show. The fall venue opens doors and allows local and non-local exhibitors to participate who possibly could not compete in the spring because they do not have to qualify for this event.”

Arielle Aharoni, the $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix winner at the iconic Dixon Oval in September 2023, reflected on her experience competing in the Dixon Oval: “This was my first time winning at Devon. I have been hungry for the win and am happy it finally happened.” Her sentiment captures the special significance that a Devon victory holds for competitors at every level.

The Fall Classic goes beyond equestrian competition, offering a complete family experience featuring boutique shopping, gourmet food options, live entertainment, and carnival rides. Vendor Booths open at 10:00 am daily, and midway rides and games are open throughout the weekend, creating the perfect atmosphere for families to enjoy world-class equestrian sport together with entertainment for all ages.
