We hope everyone remembered to spring forward yesterday! With the time change, our Saturday Night Lights Grand Prix events now begin at 7:30 PM through the end of March.

This week, we are thrilled to launch CSI4* competition with the generous support of Horseware Ireland—a perfect reason to start celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a little early!

Alongside world-class international competition, we will also showcase our Young Horse Finals at the Winter Equestrian Festival. These talented young horses and their riders have been working all season toward this moment, and we can’t wait to see who rises to the occasion.

Friday will feature:

WEF 9 Highlights

Darragh Kenny (IRL) & Zero K continue their rapid ascent! Since adding the mare to his string in December, Kenny has already propelled her to five-star grand prix success. Their biggest win yet came on Thursday in the $116,000 Adequan WEF Challenge Cup Round 9.

McLain Ward (USA) is back in the winner’s circle! After several weeks off due to injury, the two-time Olympic gold medalist clinched victory in the $62,500 Bainbridge Companies CSI5* 1.50m with First Lady, owned by Robin Parsky.

Liza Towell Boyd & Ondine d’Orleans continued their winning streak, following up their $150,000 WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular victory with another triumph—this time in the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, presented by Bainbridge Companies. The ponies took center stage in the USHJA Pony Hunter Derby, presented by MARS Equestrian. With a competitive field of 64 entries, Kenzie Smith & On Tour (owned by Charlotte Kelly) claimed top honors.

International Women’s Day was extra special at Wellington International! The $62,500 Baxter Miami CSI2* Grand Prix on Saturday saw Jacqueline Ruyle (USA) & Cyramo Z take the win, followed by Abigail McArdle (USA) & Olympia van het Eikenhof in second, and Maria Costa (USA) & Valentino V Z in third. Then we saw, Emilie Conter (BEL) deliver a show-stopping performance to win the $500,000 Bainbridge Companies CSI5* Grand Prix during Saturday Night Lights on March 8—another thrilling finish befitting International Women’s Day. As we finished the week, we saw Michael Murphy (USA) aboard Kaida CM take top honors in the $62,500 Hermès CSI5* 1.50m Classic.

Saturday Night Lights offers free general admission, but for the ultimate experience, reserve a spot in one of our premium hospitality venues. Tickets have been selling out by mid-week, so be sure to book early!
