Week 7 of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), sponsored by Lugano, was packed with thrilling competition and standout performances. In the hunter ring, Wailea, owned by Ohana Equine LLC, maintained her perfect record with Jennifer Bliss in the irons, claiming victory in the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby Open Section, presented by NetJets. In the Junior/Amateur Section, Brendan Weiss and Jaguar delivered an impressive performance to take the top spot.

Kent Farrington (USA) remains unstoppable in the CSI5* competition, continuing his winning streak at Wellington International. Support Those Who Know Your Horse Best—The Grooms!

Grooms spend more time with your horse than anyone else. They know every habit, every quirk, and every small change that could mean something more. Their expertise and dedication ensure horses feel their best every day, whether at home or here in the show ring at Wellington International.

At HorseGrooms, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of horsemanship by providing grooms with the support, resources, and recognition they deserve. Through education, mentorship, and a strong community, we help grooms grow in their profession and connect with industry experts.

Be part of this mission—show your appreciation by gifting your groom a HorseGrooms Insiders membership, making a donation, or by becoming a HorseGrooms Stable Supporter. Respected supporters like Cian O’Connor, Dr. Brad Wolf, and Wendy Peralta of Seabreeze Farm have already joined this meaningful program!

Go to horsegrooms.com/get-involved to learn about ways to support HorseGrooms.

When we invest in grooms, we invest in horsemanship. We invest in the future of the sport.
