For Weatherly Stroh, this season at the Winter Equestrian Festival was split between the show ring and her vendor space as the Official Program Cover Artist and Artist-in-Residence for the 2025 winter season. Though it was the second time one of Weatherly’s original paintings was featured on the cover of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) program, it was her first time being named as the Artist-in-Residence, who is in charge of supplying the art for the walls of the International Club. For anyone, the winter season in Wellington is busy, and for the full-time painter, businesswoman, and part-time amateur owner hunter competitor, Weatherly Stroh, this unique opportunity at Wellington International this season was a lot to juggle but proved to be an incredible experience. She reflected on her 13 weeks on the show grounds stating:

I want to personally express my deepest gratitude to the greater Wellington community. As a full-time artist, amateur equestrian competitor, and businesswoman, I could not have managed this busy season without your unwavering support, encouragement, and love! Your passion for my work fuels my creativity, and it’s because of you that I can continue doing what I love. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for allowing me to share my art with you. I’m so grateful for all of you!

While it may be hard to name a singular favorite moment from the season, Weatherly had several standout memories from this year including:

Moving up into the 3’6″ Amateur Owner Hunter Division with her horse, Sir Henry.

Though Weatherly’s time at WEF has come to an end for the year, she is not going far with her studio being located in Wellington. When she is not traveling as a co-host of the Art of Life Creativity Retreats, this is where you can find her and her latest original pieces.

Weatherly is opening her studio this spring for an End-of-Season Celebration on Thursday, April 10th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Join Weatherly one last time before hitting the road for the summer, or stop in and say hello if you missed the opportunity to visit her booth at WEF. All are welcome! There will be refreshments and light bites. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by emailing info@weatherlystroh.com or calling/messaging 970.376.2356.
