Lexington, KY – June 4, 2021 – The team at Kentucky Horse Shows LLC is pleased to share the official prize list for the 2021 Bluegrass Festival Horse Show, held August 17-22, and the KHJA Horse Show, which will take place August 25-29. As always, both shows will take place at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
Following the Kentucky Summer Horse Show, the Kentucky Summer Classic, and USEF Pony Finals Presented by Honor Hill Farm, the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show, a World Champion Hunter Rider Event, is host to a wide variety of hunter and jumper classes for competitors of all levels, as well as the famed USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships and the USHJA International Hunter Derby Championships.
Join the Bluegrass Festival for feature classes such as the Green Hunter Incentive Championship Rounds on Thursday, August 19, and the $25,000 Bluegrass Classic Grand Prix held Friday, August 20. Saturday, August 21, top hunter riders from around the country will take over the prestigious Rolex Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park for the USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship and the weekend will conclude with the $40,000 Bluegrass Festival Grand Prix, sponsored by Audi of Lexington, Sunday, August 22.
Kicking off Wednesday, August 25 is the KHJA Horse Show which will offer double points to all KHJA members. Feature classes include Thursday’s $15,000 Welcome Stake and the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby and $30,000 KHJA Grand Prix both held Saturday, August 28.
