Lexington, KY – Oct. 2, 2023 – The National Horse Show is proud to announce new Non-Pro Hunter Grants. These grants are open to children, adults, juniors and amatuers who wish to pursue their goals in the hunter ring. If awarded one of these grants, riders will be required to submit receipts and a description of their experience.

Grants are funded by the National Horse Show Endowment, which was established in 2022 in honor of the late-Chairman, Mason Phelps. The grant was sponsored by the Endowment Committee members, Clementina Brown, Margaret H. Duprey, and Amanda Pollack. The Committee believes that this Grant empowers the Endowment’s Mission Statement:

The National Horse Show Endowment was established to sustain the legacy and prestige of the National Horse Show and its patrons. The endowment will focus on education and talent development for young riders in underrepresented divisions.

To learn more about our Endowment, please visit website https://nhs.org/mason-phelps-endowment/  or contact Amanda Pollack at amandapollack11@gmail.com. If you would like to leave your legacy and donate to the NHS Endowment, contributions can be sent via check, credit card, stock transfers, and legacy planning on a bi-annual, monthly, or annual basis.
