2022 Devon Fall Classic Prize List Now Available

Devon, Pa. – June 30, 2022 – The 2022 Devon Fall Classic, presented by Main Line Health, Bryn Mawr Hospital, will once again return to the historic Devon Horse Show Grounds. Festivities will kick off at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 when the show grounds open to the public for live entertainment, and competition will run from Thursday, September 15 through Sunday, September 18, 2022. Wayne Grafton, CEO and Chairman of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation, is excited to announce on behalf of the organization that Patrick Boyle, of Showplace Productions, and Phil J. DeVita will be the new show managers for the 2022 September event. Together, this new management team brings with it decades of experience in every facet of managing a boutique show like the Fall Classic. As a team their experience runs the full gamut of competitor, trainer, judge, course designer and show production which will be sure to add immense value, creativity and insight to all
aspects of this competition.

Returning for its ninth year, the Devon Fall Classic benefits the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that allows the historic venue the support it needs to continue improvements to the showground. Recent upgrades include new footing in all three rings, barn and stall renovations, as well as improvements in vendor areas.

Competition will begin promptly at 8am each morning in the Dixon Oval, except Saturday, which will start at 7:30am. Take in the beautiful scenery and autumn air between classes and enjoy the Devon Fall Festival, which will feature a full carnival with an array of booths in Vendor Village, great food, live music and rides.

Thursday evening, the Dixon Oval will host the $5,000 Open Jumper Welcome Stake, and the $5,000 Speed Stake will take place Friday evening. Saturday evening events feature the $7,500 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic while the night concludes with the highly anticipated $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix.

The Devon Fall Classic offers many classes and divisions across the jumper discipline for exhibitors to choose from, including Open Jumpers, Young Jumpers, Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumpers, Children’s and Adult-Amateur Jumpers, as well as the Thoroughbred Jumper.
