Classic Champions, Inc. was created to address the education of young jumpers on grass in North America. They offer the only systematic approach in the United States to the education of their future champions based on proven, classic European principles. To date, young jumper classes in North America have, for the most part, been offered on sand arenas, the dimensions and physical aspects of which cannot hope to compare in feel and experience with the evolution of the horse on a grass field. The needs of the young jumper also require targeted course design. Classic Champions Inc. offers symposiums to educate riders, trainers and owners in this proven method. Classic Champions Inc. offers YJC and internationally-recognized point based competitions on grass for young jumpers utilizing time proven European methods of course design and judging. Classic Champions Inc. is also sponsoring all of Wednesday and Thursday’s young jumper classes at the 2017 Deeridge Derby Weekend in addition to an audio-visual presentation by world-renowned Olympic rider and course designer, Frederic Cottier, along with an informal fashion presentation by A-K-R-I-S- on March 2 at 5 p.m. in the Taylor Harris Club.

The creation of Wölffer Estate Vineyard spanned over three decades and required a creative vision, an ability to bring dreams to reality and a great deal of dedicated hard work by many. Christian Wölffer possessed the vision and, with the meticulous care of his professional team, built this special place — Wölffer Estate Vineyard. The original parcel of land was a potato farm with an old farmhouse in what is now the middle of the estate. Over the years, as more acres were acquired, paddocks and stables were added and, in 1988, the vineyard was founded. This 55-acre vineyard is part of a 175-acre estate with boarding stables, 39 paddocks, an indoor jumping ring and a grand prix field. Both the stables and winery have a European character and, from these former potato fields, world-class wines have come forth. Wölffer Estate Vineyard is an American winery in the classic European tradition. Wölffer Estate Vineyard winemaker, Roman Roth, the King of Rosé, partnered with Susanna Balbo, one of Argentina’s greatest winemakers, and her son, José Lovaglio, at Dominio del Plata, for one of the first Provence-style Rosés to come from Argentina.
