Devon, Pa. – June 2, 2021 – As the team at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair gears up for competitions set to be held throughout the summer and fall, they are continuing to focus on making the facility one of the best in the world. At the end of May, they began reconstructing the footing in all of the rings to continue to provide a top quality surface for every horse competing at the venue
The new footing will be fresh and ready for all of the upcoming events this summer and fall after being redone and laser graded. “It was very much needed to continue to provide the exceptional footing that Devon has always been known for,” explained competition manager Peter Doubleday. “The highest priority for the Devon Horse Show is to provide the very best footing for FEI events, whether it’s jumping that we feature in the spring, or whether it’s Dressage at Devon which is featured in September. It’s a refresh of everything and it provides a much needed improved surface to continue to stay ahead of the horse show world.”
Events at the historic Devon Horse Show grounds are just around the corner, with the Brandywine Horse Shows beginning June 30, 2021. In September, the Devon Fall Classic will take center stage September 15-19, followed by Dressage at Devon. Sponsorship for the Fall Classic is well underway and the 2022 sponsorship solicitation will begin in the summer of 2021.
