Gladstone, N.J. – Apr. 25, 2019 – New Jersey-based leading equine transportation company EquiJet is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Garden State Horse Show, New Jersey’s premier AA-rated hunter/jumper competition. EquiJet is thrilled to serve as the title sponsor of the $25,000 Garden State Grand Prix during the competition, which will be held for the first time at Hamilton Farm from April 27 – May 5, 2019, with the EquiJet-sponsored Grand Prix scheduled for Saturday, May 4. The management team behind EquiJet is excited to align with the Garden State Horse Show, an event they have attended and competed at for many years, and are eager for their contributions to add to the ongoing success of the competition as a New Jersey staple.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the horse show community all over the world, but it is special for us when we can support a local show. Part of EquiJet’s success can surely be attributed to the support of our friends, family and colleagues in New Jersey, and we want to do our best to repay that kindness,” said Schroeder. “The Garden State Horse Show has been a historic event we look forward to here in New Jersey for many years, and we are excited to be able to sponsor it this year. We can’t wait for the spring!”
Since its inception as an all-junior show in 1951, the Garden State Horse Show has expanded from a one-day competition to its current state as the largest AA-rated hunter/jumper horse show in New Jersey and an East Coast favorite. Throughout its tenure, international and Olympic athletes including McLain Ward, Chris Kappler, Anne Kursinski and Peter Leone have competed at the Garden State Horse Show. Spring 2019 will mark the first year for the event in its new location, the picturesque and historic Hamilton Farm, the headquarters of the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation and former training grounds of the U.S. Equestrian Team.
With a historic backdrop for competition, unmatched hospitality, and state of the art footing, the Garden State Horse Show will continue to offer superior conditions and competition in 2019. From lead line to equitation and hunters to jumpers, the show offers a full range of classes for exhibitors of any level. Highlight classes include several High Child/Adult Jumper classics, a $10,000 Hunter Derby for both Professionals and Non-Professionals, a $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby and the feature class of the week, the EquiJet $25,000 Garden State Grand Prix.
As a sponsor, EquiJet is proud to be able to support the many horses and riders for which it provides transportation.
