Gay Polo League to Play Overseas at Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club in England

Windsor, England – July 13, 2018 – The Gay Polo League (GPL) is headed to Europe! GPL is thrilled to add three days of polo at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club (RCBPC) located in Windsor, England to its upcoming schedule. Located just west of London, the premier club will host 4 teams consisting of 12 GPL players quarterbacked by top professionals from September 6 to 8, 2018. Having competed across the United States as well as in Argentina, GPL is ecstatic to add England to its international repertoire with the new tournament across the pond at one of the most prestigious polo venues on the globe.

Set on over 220 acres of beautiful British countryside, RCBPC stands out as one of Europe’s top-tier polo clubs and classic events spaces, boasting world-class sporting facilities including six pristine polo fields, two training fields, the UK’s first all-weather polo arena, stabling to accommodate over 200 horses, two tennis courts, a croquet lawn and an esteemed polo academy and Clubhouse bar. In 1986, late founder Bryan Morrison succeeding in converting the original estate into the RCBPC, with HRH The Prince of Wales proudly opening the club as its first member.
