Wellington, Fla. – March 10, 2019 – HorseLinc, a popular mobile application that revolutionizes invoicing and payment processing for equine professionals, is proud to announce their new scholarship program. Offering three scholarship opportunities, HorseLinc’s initiative was designed to recognize dedicated collegiate equestrians who are incoming college freshman, undergraduate students or graduate students.
To be eligible for the HorseLinc scholarships, students must demonstrate a strong work ethic and positively impact their local equestrian community. Recipients for the Incoming College Freshmen Scholarship are required to have been a working student or provided a service, such as braiding, grooming or clipping. The College Undergraduate Scholarship applicants must have ridden on their school team while enrolled in at least 12 credits per system to be eligible. HorseLinc’s third scholarship, the Graduate Students & Beyond Scholarship, will recognize alumni of a collegiate riding team who are currently enrolled in post-graduate studies to obtain Masters or Doctorate level degrees.
“While financial aid is available to college students, I was inspired to develop HorseLinc’s scholarship program to support collegiate equestrians who are extremely dedicated to balancing their academics with their equine training,” said Misty Pleiness, HorseLinc’s founder. “Our scholarships are open to riders of any discipline and we are excited to now accept applications.”
To apply to HorseLinc’s scholarships, visit the website to fill out the application form and attach the required one-page letter of recommendation from a trainer, team coach or client. The deadline to apply for HorseLinc’s 2019 scholarships is Friday, May 31.
