Temecula, Calif. – April 19, 2019 – Nilforushan Equisport Events is thrilled to announce that KindredBio, one of the horse show series’ premier sponsors, and the Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) are hosting a dog adoption event TODAY at Galway Downs! KindredBio generously sponsored the successful adoption event during the 2018 inaugural horse show, and the philanthropic organization is once again playing its part to benefit the lives of needy animals. From 11 a.m. PST to 3 p.m., you can pet and play with some adoptable four-legged friends, so make sure to stop by the ringside tent beside the Audi Grand Prix Arena during the Temecula Valley National Premier to find your next furry companion. It’s not a horse show without dogs!
“We are so pleased to be able to offer this opportunity at the horse show thanks to KindredBio. The Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dear to the hearts of so many local animal lovers here in California, and I think the partnership of these two organizations is the perfect way to find new, loving homes for some deserving dogs,” commented Francie Nilforushan, one of the owners and managers of Nilforushan Equisport Events. “I hope we get a great turn-out for the adoption event so that each of the available dogs can find their forever homes!”
Sponsored by KindredBio, the dog adoption event is yet another way in which the forward-thinking company is working to provide better futures for animals everywhere. The core strategy of KindredBio is to “leverage the billions of dollars that have been invested by other companies in human pharmaceuticals by modifying, improving, and repurposing pre-existing drugs and therapeutics that have already proven to be safe and effective in humans.” One such way in which the company is achieving this goal is by working to develop felinized, caninized and equinized versions of proven human biologics.
Founded in 1960 by a team of dedicated volunteers, RCHS is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and care of homeless companion animals, the rehabilitation of wildlife and the promotion of humane education through community outreach. As part of the San Diego Animal Welfare Coalition, RCHS abides by the pledge that no healthy, treatable animal will ever be euthanized for time or space. RCHS has consistently been rated one of the top charities in the nation and the state of California, and to date the organization has paired hundreds of cats, dogs and rabbits with new families.
The first week of Nilforushan Equisport Events’ Temecula Valley National Horse Show will conclude Saturday, April 20, but three more weeks of competition will return May 15 – 19, May 22 – 26 and May 29 – June 2.
