Wellington, Fla. – Jan. 28, 2019 – The Chesapeake International Draft Horse Show is set to take place February 8-10 at the picturesque Crab Orchard Farm, generously donated by Frank and Monica McCourt. This one of a kind event promises fun for the whole family and a unique opportunity to witness the gentle giants perform up close! Hosted by Victoria McCullough, entry is free to the public, with proceeds benefiting the EQUUS Foundation and the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches.
The first day of exciting competition will kick-off Friday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. and will feature the Belgian Six Horse Hitch, Clydesdale Six Horse Hitch, Percheron Six Horse Hitch, as well as entertainment and the Ladies Cart.
On Saturday, February 10, the day’s events will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Classic Series Six Horse Hitch, followed by the entertainment, Ladies Team, and the Four Horse Hitch event. All proceeds and donations collected on Saturday will go directly to benefit the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches.
The Chesapeake International Draft Horse Show will conclude Sunday, February 11, with classes getting underway at 12:00 p.m. The first class of the day will be the Eight Horse Hitch, followed by the day’s entertainment, the Unicorn class, and the Charity Team Class. Sunday’s proceeds and donations will directly benefit the EQUUS Foundation.
