Wellington, Fla. – March 20, 2019 – Phelps Media Group (PMG) is thrilled to welcome the National Horse Carriers Association, Inc. (NHCA) as the newest addition to its already extensive list of clientele. PMG is an international leader in equestrian public relations, branding and marketing and is excited to join forces with the NHCA as they continue to grow the association’s brand awareness.
Founded in 1964, the NHCA was formed to encourage and promote high standards in the horse transportation industry. With 37 members throughout the United States, the NHCA members provide confidence and peace of mind from coast to coast. Every member must meet the filing and insurance requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and those of relevant states. Members must also meet strict safety standards set forth by the DOT, an agency that governs both vehicles and drivers.
“This is a huge step for the NHCA,” said DJ Johnson, board member of the National Horse Carriers Association. “We’re determined to promote the regulation of safe horse transport and service horse owners with licensed and insured horse carriers.”
The membership continues to work together on various issues relevant to the modern-day shipping of all equines, regardless of breeding or discipline. The NHCA has maintained a standard of excellence among its members unequaled in the horse transport industry.
