Dionysos De La Vigne, known as “Dino” in the barn, was recently imported from Europe and is already impressing Williams with his athleticism and easy composure in the ring. QBS Equestrian purchased Dino (Diamant De Semilly X Tulipe De La Vigne) in May of 2021 after seeing the gelding compete in Ireland. The entire QBS team is looking forward to watching Dino develop in the show jumping arena with Williams.

“I am so thrilled to be a part of this team,” expressed Williams. “I am really looking forward to my future with Dino, who is very athletic and so much fun to ride. I’ve only done the 1.20m and 1.30m so far, but he’s just playing and it’s a great feeling. He really wants to please his rider and he has fun with it and wants to do well. I am so happy to have this opportunity and to get to grow with both the team and with Dino. I am excited to see what we can do together.”

Heather Caristo-Williams is a life-long equestrian and the daughter of Glenview Stables’ Ralph and Holly Caristo. She ranks among the top grand prix riders in the nation and has represented the United States in international competition, including Nations Cup events. Heather was a member of the winning Nations Cup team in Langley, BC in 2017. In addition to her accolades in grand prix competition, Heather is an accomplished hunter rider who has ridden to championships at the Winter Equestrian Festival and throughout the Northeast.

“When Michael first sent me the video of Dino, the message said, ‘This one is a winner, and I know who should ride him,’” explained Sisco. “Dino and Heather’s great start is proving him right on both counts. We are truly fortunate to be working with Heather and the Glenview team to take Dino to his potential.”

Meller concluded, “Heather is a talented rider who has worked hard to produce young horses year after year. We are excited to be able to give her an opportunity on a horse that can really take her career to the next level. She is a soft, confident rider who we believe will really allow Dino to showcase his natural talent in the ring”

As QBS Equestrian continues its mission to find and produce some of the world’s top young show jumping mounts, Meller and Sisco look forward to watching the progress of Williams and Dionysos De La Vigne’s partnership.
