Adell and her own Laugh Out Loud won the Medium Pony Hunter under saddle as well as one of their over fences classes to secure the division’s reserve championship title. The duo then went to on to win the $500 Small/Medium Pony Hunter Classic.
Marking their first appearance in the Large Pony Hunters, Adell and Spellbound also had excellent results, placing second in two of the over fences classes as well as the model and the under saddle to earn the division’s reserve championship.
“Laugh Out Loud and Spellbound were both perfect this week,” said Adell. “It was very exciting to finally do the Larges with Spellbound this week and I could not have been happier with his performance. Laugh Out Loud is always fun to show because he is a good mover with a great jump!”

Twelve-year-old Adell has also starting competing regularly in the Small Junior Hunter 15 & Under 3’6″ division with Redeemed. This week, she piloted her mount to the Small Junior Hunter under saddle win as well as two fourth place ribbons.
“Savonna rode beautifully this week,” said Adell’s trainer Gary Duffy. “All of her ponies, as well as Redeemed, really stepped up and we are thrilled with the results. Laugh Out Loud and Spellbound each require different types of rides, and Savonna has done a wonderful job learning how to adapt quickly to each pony so that they perform well in the ring.”
