Healthy soil is brimming with life. Bacteria, fulvic and humic acids, and fungi all play a crucial role in plant and soil vitality. But did you know that healthy soil is also beneficial for your horse and dog’s GI tract? Join BioStar’s open panel discussion with soil guru, Kevin Fletcher and holistic health consultant, Lizzy Meyer, to learn more about the importance of soil health and how it affects your horse and dog.
Kevin Fletcher is New Country Organics‘ guru and organic oracle. His knowledge base is in grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured poultry, goat dairy, organic vegetables and herb farming, beneficial insect programs, organic honey production, farm store, community-supported agriculture (CSA), restaurant marketing of organic products, organic grain production, large-scale organic composting, and integration of organic best practices into traditional farm operations.
Lizzy Meyer is an intuitive health consultant, with a passion for healing foods and holistic care, which began in her younger years due to her dog’s chronic illness. Her intuition guided her down the path of homeopathy and raw feeding and later inspired her educational path as a veterinary technician. With a love for dogs with chronic disease patterns, Lizzy applies her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda along with her intuition to help them heal and stay healthy. Having worked for a veterinary homeopath, holistic vets, a small animal emergency clinic, and the early years of BioStar, Lizzy has learned to think outside of the box and attributes much of her success to her mentorship with Tigger Montague. Helping others with education about dogs and holistic care gives her great joy, and senior and special needs dogs are her absolute heart’s passion.
Kevin, Lizzy, and Tigger will share their tips and answer your questions about the importance of soil health and how it affects your horse and dog.
Hosted by BioStar’s Tigger Montague.
