Wellington, Fla. – October 13, 2021 – The Equine Platform owner, Kendall Gath, was featured on Episode 181 of The Equestrian Podcast. In this episode, Kendall discusses everything from her personal riding career to the thought process behind creating The Equine Platform.
Over the course of three years, The Equine Platform team has put a lot of thought and time into creating a unique product for the horse world. With input from leading industry professionals and trainers, Gath’s primary focus was to make the app as user friendly as possible. Although the team initially planned to launch in January of 2020, COVID-19 halted their efforts, which, in turn, allowed the team to put extra effort into perfecting the app and its uses.
In an ever-changing industry, Kendall recognized the struggles of staying connected with everyone across the country in order to buy and sell horses. “I’m very familiar with everyone on the West Coast, since I grew up in Southern California,” said Gath. “But when I went to ride in Michigan about a month ago with interest in selling my horse at the horse show, I didn’t know where to start. At the time, our app hadn’t launched yet, but this is an ideal situation where The Equine Platform could be very beneficial.” The app is a great source to expand the buyer or seller’s network and help bridge the gap for owners and trainers at all levels that may not be able to rely solely on word of mouth to sell horses.
The Equine Platform seeks to not only help professionals buy and sell more effectively, but also hopes to help resolve the transparency issue that the industry currently faces. Building trustworthy relationships is what The Equine Platforms believes will set them apart.
