Wellington National Golf Club Spares No Expense for Grand Opening of The Champions Bistro!

Wellington, Fla. – Jan. 4, 2018 – The highly-anticipated Grand Opening of Wellington National’s Champions Bistro now has a date set! Beginning at 6 P.M.the evening of Jan. 11, plan to attend the unveiling of one of the best new restaurants in town on the grounds of the pristine Wellington National Golf Club. The ribbon cutting ceremony will lead way to a festive evening of complimentary food and drinks as well as live entertainment. The opening comes after an extremely successful year of growth and development for the club under owners Chip Smith and Doug Marty.

“We have put so much work and time into the building of The Champions Bistro, and the entire team is excited to finally see it come to fruition,” said Marty, co-owner of Wellington National. “We are expecting a great turnout at our Grand Opening, and are looking forward to it becoming a new fixture at the club.”

The grand opening event will feature multiple food and beverage options including elegantly crafted hors d’ oeuvres, champagne and a unique pizza station utilizing the restaurant’s brand new wood-fired Napolitano pizza oven imported from Italy. Other highlights of the menu will include passed champagne, a raw bar, shrimp and grits, crab soup shooters, mini-burgers, and much more. Food and drinks will begin circulating at 6 P.M., followed by the official ribbon cutting at 7:30 P.M. Live music and entertainment will begin shortly after, with a unique laser show concluding the evening’s festivities.

The Champions Bistro will offer casual and classy indoor and outdoor fine dining for the sophisticated pallet. Located on the exterior of the beautiful Wellington National Golf Club, it offers a unique view of the 18th green from the pristine Travertine terrace. Interior features boast a beautiful and brand-new Napolitano pizza oven and an open-air kitchen element. The restaurant’s exquisite selection of hand-crafted foods includes vegetarian and gluten-free selections, American-fare, signature dishes and tantalizing desserts. It also offers a full-size bar with four large flat-screen TVs for special happy hour events or simply catching up with friends over a drink.

With both indoor and outdoor seating, it is the perfect spot for any occasion.
