For the past 48 years, Dressage at Devon (DaD) has relied on the support of the dressage community to put on a one-of-a-kind event. The non-profit started with the Delaware Valley, Pennsylvania dressage community coming together with the mission of providing instruction and training for members and to inform and demonstrate dressage to the public. With the same goals in mind today, DaD looks for support for the 49th year of the event, to be held September 24th through September 29th 2024.
The cost of providing the unforgettable DaD experience substantially exceeds funding generated by competitor, vendor and spectator fees. The magic of the event depends on generous supporters who care deeply about the show and its historical and cultural significance to U.S. dressage
Here are the best ways to support Dressage at Devon for a spectacular event in 2024:
Participate in the Silent Auction
This year, from March 10-24th, DaD will hold an online silent auction as a fundraiser for the show. Donations of any kind that are of interest to dressage enthusiasts are welcome; if you’d like to provide a product or service, please fill out this form by February 29th, 2024. Items donated so far include stud services from prominent breeding programs, lessons and other exciting items. Donating items is a great way to promote a brand, company or farm! If you can not donate, DaD encourages you to participate in the bidding once the items are released in March.
Become a Sponsor
Do you have a brand or business that people in the community would be interested in? A great way to support DaD is by becoming a sponsor. This iconic event reaches thousands of dressage enthusiasts through attendance, event livestream, social media and press releases and email blasts. This large following allows for high brand visibility for sponsors. An array of sponsorship opportunities, at varying prices, are available. DaD is even welcoming two-year sponsorship contracts so you can be involved with the event in 2024 and 2025, for the event’s 50th anniversary. Donate and join the Sustainers Club
Every donation DaD receives makes all the difference. Donations of any size help preserve the DaD tradition; advance educational opportunities, like our Masterclass; sustain the longest-running CDI in the Northeast, allowing hometown heroes to be seen on an international stage; and provide a gathering place for all dressage enthusiasts. Another great way to donate is by joining the Sustainers Club. The DaD Sustainers Club is a group of passionate people who make unrestricted donations of $1,000 or more per year to support the operations of the show. Sustainers recognize the importance of keeping this historic international event in our region, and take on the pivotal role of safeguarding the future of DaD. Sustainers receive benefits such as, invitations to VIP events during the show and throughout the year; opportunities to go behind the scenes and meet the riders, trainers and leaders who make the experience possible; and a membership lapel pin to proudly show your support.
