May 19, 2026 – Leatherdale Farms is proud to celebrate an outstanding milestone for Leatherdale Farms and Susanne Meyer’s 2013 Hanoverian mare, Daniela (Damsey FRH x Helena (His Highness)), following the mare’s successful first-ever CDI5* appearance at the 2026 CDI Hamburg (GER).

Ridden by German Olympian Helen Langehanenberg, Daniela earned fifth place in the Grand Prix Special. Despite windy conditions, cold temperatures, and an electric atmosphere with spectators close to the arena, the mare handled the environment with confidence and maturity.
“I had already wondered beforehand whether a five-star competition might be a bit too soon for Daniela,” Langehanenberg shared after the competition. “But she just felt ready during training and after her recent successes in Münster, Ankum, and Stadl-Paura. What she produced in Hamburg was simply incredible.”

In addition to their top-five finish, Langehanenberg and Daniela were also awarded the Anrecht Investment Harmony and Fairness Award, voted on by spectators in recognition of harmonious riding and partnership.
The performance marks another exciting milestone for Daniela as she continues her progression at the international level.
