Wellington, FL – March 4, 2025 – Leatherdale Farms’ 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding Daniel L and 14-year-old Hanoverian mare Helmi both topped the leaderboards during week 8 of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in their respective classes with Canadian Grand Prix rider, Vanessa Creech-Terauds.

Daniel L and rider Vanessa Creech-Terauds scored 69.384% to take the win in AGDF week 8’s open FEI Grand Prix on Thursday, February 27. Helmi and Creech-Terauds topped both of their USEF Fourth Level tests, earning a highlight score of 70.789%.

“We are so happy and celebrating this past blue ribbon weekend where Daniel L and Helmi won their respective classes,” stated Creech-Terauds. “It was very rewarding to feel some of the adjustments we’ve made for the Grand Prix with Danny to come through in the ring. He understands all the movements and now we continue working towards improving the lightness and making it better. Helmi hasn’t been in the show ring for a few years, so we are very pleased with how confident and happy she felt!”
Daniel L (Damsey FRH–EM Wibranda, Wolkenstein II) was bred and is owned by Leatherdale Farms.
Helmi (Herzensdieb 2–Lady-Lou 14) is also owned by Louise Leatherdale, co-founder and owner of Leatherdale Farms.
